The rental of a car requires certain rules and conditions
to be observed, which were imposed by ProMotor company.
- Minimum age required to rent a car is 21.
- The driver must be in possession of a driving license for at least 1 year.
- Minimum rental period is 24 hours.
Other obligations regarding the rented car:
- To use the car exclusively for the purpose of traveling on the Romanian territory, without using it in any kind of races, demonstrations etc.
- To keep the given car in a perfect interior and exterior cleaning state.
- To strictly comply with the Romanian legislation regarding driving rules, as well as the instructions from the car user manual.
- To keep in conditions of maximum security the Vehicle Registration Certificate/ temporary circulation authorization, car keys and remote controls, otherwise the driver shall bear the legal consequences that will come from losing them.
- In case of the loss or theft of the Vehicle Registration Certificate/ temporary circulation authorization, car keys and/or remote controls, to immediately inform us (within12 hours), in written form and verbally.
- To immediately inform in writing and verbally of the car theft or the theft of some parts or components of it, or of any damage that occurred by the damaging or destruction of the car.
- Not to alter the car in any way by modifying or adding elements neither to the mechanical part, nor to the esthetic one.
- The driving of the car is forbidden in case the driver has consumed alcohol, drugs or medical substances forbidden to drivers.
- Not to drive the car if the driving license was suspended, cancelled or retained for cancellation or suspension
- To immediately inform in writing and verbally of any technical problem of the car and to exactly observe the lessor's representative's special indications.
- Not to enter with the car in flooded areas;
- Not to drive the car outside the public open roads
- To take the safety measures (remove the key from the contact, close the windows, doors, luggage compartment, activate the alarm system etc.) during the period the car is stationary or in a parking area.
- Not to leave the car in unpopulated areas or in traffic jam, except for the situations when this was explicitly required by the authorities when people’s lives or integrity is in danger.
- The access of foreign people in the car is forbidden, except for family members or friends. The transport of people or goods for your own profit is forbidden as well.
- It is forbidden to draw other vehicles or cars
- To give back the car immediately after the expiration of the rental period. In case of exceeding the contractual term with more than 2 hours, the lessor is entitled to consider the car stolen and announce the theft to the Police.
